With a population expected to reach 80,000 within the next 25 years, and over 1,200 acres of land zoned for office, industrial, commercial, and residential developments, it is critically important that Collierville has a thoughtful plan for moving the Town forward.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

JOHN DUNCAN, Director of Economic Development, Town of Collierville: Hired in early 2014 to take the Town of Collierville’s economic development efforts from thoughtfully directed to strategically managed, Duncan is responsible for the recruitment of office, industrial and commercial development partners for our community. The promotion of our assets, to include our strategic location, award-winning schools, top shelf amenities, modern infrastructure, and powerful demographics, in a community with over 1200 acres of developable land, uniquely positions Collierville for continued strategic growth and success.

John is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, with a BBA in Marketing. His career has included stops at Johnson & Johnson, Mobil Oil, Bryce Corporation, ALSAC-St Jude and The Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce. John and his wife of 32 years, Melanie, have two daughters, Meredith and Heather. The Duncan’s have been proud Collierville residents since 1994.
